Etymology
ad- + com- + ·tá, from Proto-Celtic *tāyeti (compare Welsh taw (“there is”)), from Proto-Indo-European *steh₂-. In deuterotonic forms, ad- replaces original in-; prototonic forms are from in- + ·tá.
