Cognate to Moksha изь (iź), Proto-Finnic *esi (compare Livonian iz (“didn't”)).

Objective conjugation also adds its suffixes: эзимек, эзимем, эзимизь, эзитень, эзизеть, эзидизь, эзия, эзинек, эзинк, эзизь, эзинзе
