agyon-

1. (verbal prefix) It has two different but related meanings:
   1. When it is attached to verbs indicating strong physical effects, it means to kill something or someone using physical force.

      ‎agyon- + ‎üt (“to hit”) → ‎agyonüt (“to strike dead”)

   2. When it is attached to verbs expressing several kinds of activities, it indicates exaggeration, to do something to excess, beyond measure.

      ‎agyon- + ‎un (“to be bored of”) → ‎agyonunja magát (“to be bored to death”)

      ‎agyon- + ‎dicsér (“to praise”) → ‎agyondicsér (“to praise to the skies”)
