  1. The contempt or disgust towards Russians or Russia, especially the political system, or the customs of the former Soviet Union.

Usage notes

"Russophobia" is also used by supporters of Vladimir Putin, the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and Russian nationalists towards their opponents, accusing them of being hostile against Russia or Russian people for refusing their views.
